Be A Guest At Your Party!

Be A Guest At Your Party! At EventStagers, we strive to serve the event staff needs of our clients for bartenders and servers with excellence to fulfill our goal of helping individuals be guest at their own party or event. One of the ways we do this is through client feedback. We caught up with one of our most recent clients, Marcia C. who had a Silent Auction for her non-profit organization and here’s some of what she has to say.

How satisfied are you with the quality of our service?

How did you like your bartender?

He was very sweet and extremely helpful. He broke down the bar and I never knew it was broken down. He offered to take out the trash as well, but we could not make the elevators work. He would have done that too if we had been able to do it.

How likely are you to recommend EventStagers to colleagues, friends and families?

What can we do to improve your experience next time and/or what other feedback would you like to share?

We had large plastic glasses . . . I saw Walter give people a full glass. I would have preferred a more modest pour, but again, this is really minor. I kept meaning to tell him that, but I kept being distracted.

Thank you Marcia for your feedback and for the opportunity!
If you, a colleague or a friend has need for a bartender or server for an event, party or wedding, give us a call at 703.303.1781; or send email to, We look forward to fulfilling your event staff need and that of your circles.

What Does Wearing Red, EventStagers Founder Abla Doku, Red Tie DC And ComedySportz Show Have In Common?

What Does Wearing Red, EventStagers Founder Abla Doku, Red Tie DC And ComedySportz Show Have In Common?
MCLEAN, VA, January 10, 2014

In cities and small towns across the world where it seems everyone is busy and hurried many are enduring the effects of life after domestic violence. The first 2014 Red Tie DC event will be held in the month of February in Northern Virginia to support LADV (Life After Domestic Violence) Foundation. LADV provides support to those with long-lasting effects of domestic violence.

Red Tie DC was created by EventStagers Founder, Abla Doku. Her overarching goal is to hold an event monthly to support and help provide funding to non-profit and charitable organizations in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. The networking for a cause in DC events will allow attendees to connect, build their business, support a great cause, all while having a great time. Doku has worked with non-profits as a marketer and fundraiser and has learned first-hand the difficulties non-profit endure. She realizes to hire professional fundraisers to raise funds needed to support charitable organizations is a difficult endeavor. With a desire to help others succeed she founded her own way to help her community locally and nationally. “Our goal is to help where help is undeniably needed so organizations can gain access to funds without the overhead. We realize the need that is out there and without the financial assistance people will be affected every day,” states Doku.

A “Red Tie” event is a gala or event held for charity causes. It generally

does not involve the participants actually wearing red ties, though this occasionally happens. They are held around the country, whereas charity organizations are the beneficiary. Non-profit organizations such as LADV with the help of others will be able to offer and support their mission. Red Tie DC, the brain child of Doku is just one of many ways she has given back to the community. She is always looking for new, creative ways to give back to the community. Any charity can be considered as a beneficiary by contacting EventStagers. Sponsor opportunities are also available.

The February 6, 2014 event will offer businesses, business owners, individuals and non-profits an opportunity to network while enjoying entertaining and clean comedy. Everyone is welcome to bring a team, coworkers, clients, friends and family hosted by EventStagers at The Comedy Spot located in Arlington, VA. Networking is from 5:30 – 6:30 and a comedy show from 6:30 – 7:30. Tickets may be purchased online at

About LADV Foundation

LADV (Life After Domestic Violence) Foundation was created to help the survivors of

domestic abuse. We understand, no matter what the magnitude or the form of abuse is; it shatters the core of a person into fractions. Our purpose is to rebuild the person by providing them the tools to build their self-esteem and self-confidence; develop healthy relationships and heal from the trauma. By doing so, they will build a happy, successful and a fulfilling life. Short Term Goal: Provide immediate help with their defeated mental state to build confidence and self esteem. Enable them to make better decisions at work, in relationships, for child/children, about personal growth and finances. Long Term Goal: Provide tools that can be used over the period of their lifetime. With which, they can also start helping others who might be in a similar situation.
